The students of Class IX visit the Jesu Ashram on every Saturdays. They spend time with the sick and elderly inmates of the ashram. The students entertain them by singing songs, dancing and distributing sweets and other necessities.

Guiding started in our school in the year 1976, under Sir Sukumar Bhaduri(Retd), and is presently under Mrs. Kalpana Selvam, Mrs. Dona Das, Miss Divya Singh, Ms. Bindya Rai and Ms. Margaret Rai.

Our class VIII students continue to adopt old and poor widows as their grannies. They generously contribute in kind and in cash to their better living. They hold programs on Saturdays to distribute food, clothes and occasionally entertain them. Christmas Programme was organised for the elderly destitutes of the neightbourhood. Blankets and food were distributed to them.

Student of Class IX and XI continue to assist students coming from neighbouring vernacular schools with their studies. They provide weekly coaching classes on every Saturdays.

The school runs a Free-Bengali Medium School in the campus to educate the children of workers living in the neighbourhood. The strength of the school has been constantly increasing.
